By using LabelGrid (labelgrid.org) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

LabelGrid is a free label maker that runs in your browser, plus reference pages about label sheets. It turns the text or list you provide into a PDF laid out for the label sheet you pick. We may add, change or remove features, and we aim to keep the free tool available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Alignment, printers and test sheets

The tool and its templates are provided as is. Label sizes, margins and pitches come from public template data and, for some codes, from checks against the manufacturer's published size; we cannot guarantee that every sheet code, batch or printer matches them. Printers also shift the paper slightly and print dialogs often scale pages by default.

• Always print one test page on plain paper first and hold it against a label sheet before printing on labels.
• Print at Actual size or 100 % scale, with the paper size (US Letter or A4) that matches your sheet; never use "Fit to page".
• Printer settings, paper feeding, ink or toner and the label stock are your responsibility; use the printer offset in the tool to correct a constant shift.

We are not responsible for wasted label sheets, ink or postage caused by misaligned or mis-set prints.

Your content

You are responsible for the text, addresses and files you use on labels and for having the right to use them. They are processed in your browser and are not sent to us; see the privacy policy.

Pro

Pro is not on sale yet. The pricing page describes what it is planned to include and its planned one-time price ($19 one-time). Reserving the founder price on the Pro list takes no payment and creates no obligation for you or for us. When Pro opens it will be a one-time purchase processed by Stripe that unlocks Pro in the browser used for the purchase, with this refund promise: If Pro does not print correctly on your sheets, write to us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. These terms will be updated with the full purchase conditions before anyone can buy.

Trademarks and non-affiliation

Avery® and other label brand names, product codes and product names mentioned on this site (for example Herma, OnlineLabels, SheetLabels, Worldlabel or Avery Zweckform) are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify which label sheets a template fits. LabelGrid is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Avery or any other label maker, retailer or software product named on the site, and we use no logos of theirs.

Template data and licences

Sheet geometry comes from the gLabels template database, licensed under the MIT licence (Copyright (C) 2001-2026 Jaye Evins), retrieved 2026-10-24 and re-derived into our own data. The site design, text and code belong to LabelGrid. You may use the labels and PDFs you produce freely, including commercially.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, probe it for vulnerabilities, or copy its pages wholesale to republish them. Normal personal and business use is welcome.

Liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of templates. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
