What 32 labels per US Letter sheet means
A count of 32 per sheet does not fix the label size: the 4 sheets here use 3 sizes and 2 grids (4 × 8 and 2 × 16). Labels cover between 64 % and 86 % of the US Letter page; the rest is margin and gaps.
Always choose the template by the code printed on the box: two 32-up sheets with different sizes or margins need different templates, even though the count matches. The most common size at this count is 1 1/4″ × 1 3/4″ (2 sheets).

Which 32-up sheet to pick
Avery 6570 is the default here because it is the best-known code at this count; no other sheet on this list shares its exact layout, so print it with its own template. Its labels are 1 3/4″ (44.4 mm) by 1 1/4″ (31.7 mm).
If you need bigger labels at the same count, the largest are 1 1/4″ × 2″ on OnlineLabels OL5225; the smallest are 5/8″ × 3″ on OnlineLabels OL173. LabelGrid recommends 32-up sheets for barcode labels, asset tag labels and school supply labels.
Frequently asked questions
What size are the labels on 32-up sheets?
It depends on the sheet: 1 1/4″ × 1 3/4″ (Avery 6570), 5/8″ × 3″ (OnlineLabels OL173) and 1 1/4″ × 2″ (OnlineLabels OL5225).
How many sheets do I need for 500 labels at 32 per sheet?
16 sheets (12 labels left blank). For 100 labels: 4 sheets.
Is every 32-up template the same?
No. There are 4 different layouts at this count; label sizes and margins differ, so pick the template by the code on your box.
How do I print 32 labels per sheet correctly?
Download the PDF from the designer and print on US Letter paper at 100 % (“Actual size”), without “fit to page”. Print one test page on plain paper and hold it against a label sheet first.
