What 15 labels per US Letter sheet means
A count of 15 per sheet does not fix the label size: the 14 sheets here use 8 sizes and 3 grids (1 × 15, 3 × 5 and 5 × 3). Labels cover between 55 % and 100 % of the US Letter page; the rest is margin and gaps.
Always choose the template by the code printed on the box: two 15-up sheets with different sizes or margins need different templates, even though the count matches. The most common size at this count is 2″ × 2 11/16″ (4 sheets).

How many 15-up sheets you need
Sheets needed for a run of labels at 15 per sheet, starting on a fresh sheet, and when the first 5 positions of a used sheet are already gone (start at label 6).

|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 4 | 4 | 10 |
| 100 | 7 | 7 | 5 |

| 1000 | 67 | 67 | 5 |
Which 15-up sheet to pick
Avery 6490 is the default here because Avery codes are the usual reference for compatible sheets, and it shares its exact layout with 3 other sheets on this list, so its template prints on those too. Its labels are 2 11/16″ (68.3 mm) by 2″ (50.8 mm).
If you need bigger labels at the same count, the largest are 2.2″ × 2 5/6″ on OnlineLabels OL750; the smallest are 1 3/4″ × 2 1/2″ on OnlineLabels OL885.

Frequently asked questions
What size are the labels on 15-up sheets?
It depends on the sheet: 2″ × 2 11/16″ (Avery 6490), 2/3″ × 5 3/4″ (Avery 5997-Spine), 1 5/16″ × 2 3/4″ (OnlineLabels OL223), 1 11/16″ × 2 1/8″ (OnlineLabels OL421) and 2″ × 2.675″ (OnlineLabels OL775) and others.
