How the Avery 5159 sheet is laid out

The 2 columns and 7 rows of Avery 5159 labels are centred: 0.156″ of backing at each side, 1/4″ at the top and bottom.

Columns have a 3/16″ gutter but the 7 rows touch, so colour that bleeds off a 5159 label's top or bottom edge shows on the next one if the feed is 1 mm off.

The 0.156″ side margin is inside the roughly 6 mm many printers cannot reach, so edge-to-edge colour on the outer 5159 columns may print short.

The 1/16″ rounded corners are drawn in the preview, with the 1/8″ safe area where text belongs.

Labels cover 90 % of the page; the rest is backing.

No other sheet in LabelGrid's data (the gLabels database plus checked additions) has exactly the Avery 5159 layout, so avoid "close enough" templates.
